Last week, we learned how to leverage our personal strengths and self-awareness in order to grow. This week, we take a deeper dive into the things that can get in the way of your success. Time management, priority setting, and procrastination are vital items discussed in our reading assignment. They are also issues critical to your success as a student and as a professional.
To prepare for this week’s discussion, consider goals you have had in the past and what aspects of time management may have prevented you from reaching them.
Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:
- How can you find balance and prioritize your academic, professional, and personal responsibilities?
- What are some effective time management strategies that you have used at home, at school, or in the workplace? Why were they successful?
- Consider a time when your own procrastination but you in a time crunch. What were your reasons for procrastinating? What were the consequences? What skills have you learned this week could you have used to change the outcome of the situation?
