Following the discussion in the text about the challenges in accurately predicting happiness, reflect on an experience you have had in which you anticipated that something would make you happy, but later realized it did not. Evaluate, using ideas from lecture and this week’s readings, what may explain the difference between what you expected and how it actually turned out.
