1.1

Identify a peer reviewed empirical research study. The study's method can be anything except a literature review, secondary analysis or meta-analysis.  Include the study with your submission.

There are two parts to completing this paper:

1. Summarize: Concisely write the main points for the Introduction, Method (Sample size, demographics, variables and what type of study that was conducted), Results, and Discussion. You must use your own words to condense the main points for each section. If you want to quote the author(s), only do so to make a very important point, and use APA format.

2. Analyze: Critique the study in the following ways (expand upon things you may have already included in the summary):

1. What is your opinion of the research methods used? Evaluate the sample size, how the dependent variable was measured, and statistics used.

2. How could the study be improved? Be specific.

3. What value does this research have for larger populations and/or society as a whole?

4. What studies may need to occur as a result of this studies finding?

Appropriate paper length: 4-5 pages double-spaced (12-pt font, 1" margins)

APA Format: Include an APA Title Page and References.
