Synthesize leadership skills, the closing phase of the project life cycle, and a specific case study that you choose from among twelve case study alternatives. Select one of the twelve project case studies presented by Wearne and White-Hunt (2014) in Appendix 1 of their book and analyze how any of the five of the following interpersonal skills presented in Appendix X3 of the PMBOK® Guide (2013) apply to the closing phase of that project:

· Leadership

· Team Building

· Motivation

· Communication

· Influencing

· Decision making

· Political and cultural awareness

· Negotiation

· Trust building

· Conflict management

· Coaching Criteria

· Make and state logical assumptions that are needed to connect five skills from this list to the project that is the subject of the case study you select.

· Select your case study from among the twelve presented in Appendix 1 of Managing the Urgent and Unexpected: Twelve Project Cases and Commentary by Wearne and White-Hunt.

· You must reference the Wearne and White-Hunt book and at least two other scholarly references. Each case study in the book is followed by a list of references, which provides a good starting point for finding additional references for your paper. Your sources should follow proper APA format. Review the APA formats found in the Writing Center.

· Your paper must contain 5-7 pages of content, not including the cover page and list of references.

· Review the Rubric below to ensure all points have been captured in the Assignment.
