Capstone Project: Part II Instructions This assignment requires a PowerPoint with a recorded presentation. Prepare the final project proposal as if you are presenting it to the leadership team, administrators, or other stakeholders who have the authority to approve the project.
This presentation will not be a copy-and-paste from previous assignments. In this activity, you will summarize the key points from Assignment 2 and then further develop the project with the following criteria:
Provides a summary of the project topic in a 1-2 paragraph introduction, which describes a brief background of the issue or topic, the relevance to personal nursing practice, and improving the nursing profession. Provide a brief overview of your topic. Describe the issue you want solved. Describe the background of the problem. Describe the reason you believe this topic or issue is important. Describe the benefits and impact the project will have once implemented. Develop a potential realistic timeline for the project development, implementation, completion, and evaluation. A visual graphic is recommended with a discussion of the key deadlines. Include the evaluation of the project on the timeline. Develop a potential budget for the capstone project, to include anticipated actual costs. It is recommended that the budget be in a chart with a discussion of key points and rationales. Develop and include an evaluation tool.
Include data sampling tools and validated instruments. The actual tool is required. Discuss key measurements to determine if project goals are met. How will the results be used?
