Process leadership theory

1) Give an explanation of what your assigned leadership theory means in your own words? Would this be a leadership theory that would embody the kind of leader you want to be? Why or why not?

2) Why would you want to work for someone that embodied the theory you were assigned? Explain what it would be like working for that type of person.

3) Imagine that a person embodying the theory that you were assigned is the administrator of a large outpatient medical clinic. The staff who work at this clinic are: 4 doctors, 2 nurses, 3 receptionists, and 4 medical assistants. The clinic sees primarily low-income older adults, most of whom are covered by Medicare Insurance. The clinic is in an older part of the city and is accessible by public transportation. The staff at this clinic have all worked together for many years, except for 2 of the receptionists, who were recently hired. Answer the following questions and explain your answers:

a) How would your assigned leadership theory work well for the administrator of this medical clinic?

b) Where might your assigned leadership theory not work so well?

c) Which leadership style do you think would work best for this scenario? "
