In a group of 4-5 learners, you should research any of the management topics discussed in the course and listed below, presenting an in-depth overview of the topic based on different articles and case reviews, identifying how it can impact managers today. It is recommended to include examples related to your topic of choice.

Topics you can research are listed below. Each group can choose one of the topics listed, and can expand on it if they wish.

· Organizational Culture and Its Impact on Management Practices

· CSR & Ethics – Current Practices & Challenges

· Planning challenges in today’s business environment

· Entrepreneurship: How to become a successful entrepreneur (My topic)

· Entrepreneurship & innovation in UAE – How the government encourages entrepreneurs

Submission

One of the main outcomes of this activity is for learners to be innovative in presenting their research outcome. Learners need to present their research as a recorded presentation with the detailed outcome of their research. Presentations need to be 10-15 minutes long with recorded audio of the learners presenting the topic.

A discussion forum will be provided for groups to post their assignment on it. One group member can post on behalf of the whole group. Learners need to provide:

- list of group members

- a short description of the topic researched

- link to the video of the recorded PPT

- a pdf file of the saved presentation

As per the discussion forum guidelines shared separately on the VLE in the common resources section, learners are expected to provide their individual comments and interaction on the forum.
