Personal Snapshot
My name is Craig Mullen. I was born in Lawton, Oklahoma in 1983. I had my first kid in November 2003 and joined the USAF in July 2004. Moved to McGuire AFB, NJ in November 2004. Second kid was born in February 2005. Moved to Okinawa in 2007, New Mexico in 2011 and then finally Abilene, Texas in 2016 where I finished my bachelor's degree and then finally retired in March 2024. I am now pursuing a career in the Project Management area out in the Tampa, Fl area.
Career Choice
Project Management has been a growing sector within all private and public sector organizations and companies. The ability to prioritize, manage, produce, and see things through from start to finish is something that I have a lot of passion from. Being able to lead, mold, and watch employees grow and learn is an important aspect for me wanting to choose this career choice. Looking through my evidence shared in this portfolio will give a glimpse of who I am and who I strive to be.

Case Study:
Boat Motor Company expansion with supply, demand, and production control/cost comparisons. CJI builds bilge pumps for luxury boat company. A higher demand requires more production from CJI, and the battle is between getting another contractor; expanding the current business model by buying more equipment and hiring more personnel or building them in house. The best course of action is to let CJI expand and keep the good relationship built between the two companies. This is where they would hire a Project Manager for this action.

Government spending is huge problem depending on who you talk to. Deficit spending is an even bigger issue. There are some advantages and disadvantages to deficit spending. Deficit spending is defined as government’s expenditures exceed it revenues during a fiscal period, in its simplest definition. As the economy improves due to the deficit spending the outlook for business also improves, and this can lead to increased investment. One of the disadvantages to deficit spending is the opposite of Crowding In. Too much spending could send this whole thing down a slope that will be even harder to recover from than what there was before the deficit spending action took place. The old saying “everything is good in moderation” plays a huge role in this topic.

Vaccine Mandates Paper Legal or not?
Vaccine mandates are a hot topic as of late. Can an entity require you to have a vaccine? Can that same entity make you provide proof of said vaccine? Covid 19 has changed the environment of how everyday life is conducted. Some believe there is no right in the requirement and that it is against individual rights. Others believe that since it “provides” a safer environment then the mandates should be allowed.
Platform
Used four artifacts from my previous work to show the depth and breadth of experience and ability to research, analyze, scrutinize, and also look at both sides of some controversial topics. The scope of a Project Manager is to look at all information and choose the best course of action on how to accomplish tasks. I used a Power Point presentation to illustrate the avenue used to get to where I am and to where I am headed. This allows the user to look through different areas of expertise while utilizing a useful and comprehendible illustration.
Sharing and Accessibility
The accessibility to a portfolio is key to how well people can use it, determine the information all while being able to filter out any pertinent information needed to get a better glimpse into the person for either job opportunities or promotion within an organization. The easier it is to access and navigate the better the user will understand and have interest in these actions. Saving this as a PDF file will allow most interfaces to access the portfolio.

Personal Breakdown
My name is Baylen Mobley and I was born in Hanau Am Mein Germany. I moved to the United States in 2001 to Fort Hood Texas where I stayed until I graduated high school in 2013. In 2014 I moved to Dallas, Texas where I started working in the car sales field starting in sales working my way up to financial manager. In 2017, I enlisted in the Navy and shortly after the completion of boot camp, I was stationed in Mayport, Florida from 2017-2021, Virginia Beach, Virginia from 2021-2022 and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from 2022 to current.
2023 I have completed my bachelors degree in Business Management and currently seeking a Hospital Management/Project Management job based out of Dallas, Texas.

Artifact #1
The course HIMA 100, Medical Terminology went over a basic understanding on common medical terms used in both hospitals and clinics. The artifact displayed shows a basic understanding on medical terms, the way they break down and what each broken down term means. I received a course grade of an “A” which shows the basics when it comes to understanding this terminology.
For my second artifact, I have chosen an essay from MGMT 310, Principles of Theory Management. This paper is over the different types of organizational culture and shows the basic understanding that each place worked will have its own culture and no two places are the same. In order to be a good leader, you have to understand this and realize the not everyone handles things the same and no situations are going to be the same. As a Leader you have to be able to devise a plan when dealing with people and their unique situations and this paper shows the understanding of that and different ways to tackle problems. I received an “A” for this assignment showing of my understanding of different cultures.

For the third artifact, I have placed a snip of one of the essays from HIMA 100, Introduction to Health Information Management Throughout this paper, we discuses the evolution of healthcare record storage and the benefits we receive from having everything transferred electronically versus having one hard copy. With the posting of this paper, it shows a clear understanding on the progression and evolution along with the importance of out electronic healthcare records. I received an “A” on this paper and in the class displaying my understanding of our EHRs.

Case Study
TLMT 313
For the forth and final artifact, I decided to use a case study from TLMT 313, Supply Chain Management. Case studies show that you are able to use critical thinking skills and using those skills, you are able to analysis the information to come up with a viable solution to the problem. With case studies, you are able to study each part of the chain and figure out where the weaknesses are and what you can do or what has been done to fix the issue. This particular one shows how the investor became CEO, then overworked himself and micromanaged the company causing a bunch of issues, resulting in the company almost collapsing. They were able to fix the solution and are currently working on making the company better and stronger. For this paper I received an “A” displaying my understanding of SWOT and an understanding on how to use critical thinking so solve problems.

From start to finish, accessibility is crucial. Ensuring that there are many different ways to access your information can be a make or break for most people. The use of a PowerPoint will showcase the four artifacts I have chosen and will show that I have experience in an understanding with project management and hospital administration.
With the help of a PowerPoint, not only are my milestones clear, but the road I’m taking is laid out and easily accessible. Having clear and easy paths to access this information is vital. With the use of a PowerPoint, most people are able to access it simply by clicking it and letting it play. You are also able to convert the PowerPoint to a PDF making it easier to access links posted inside.
