Instructions 

At the beginning of this survey, we discussed themes from Jensen’s book:  Jewish background material; Greek background material; Roman background material; and the physical setting of the New Testament. Each week, the most important aspects of the assigned theme were discussed as they related to individual sections or books of the New Testament. Now it is time to bring all these things together. You will present the importance that knowledge of your topic plays in understanding the New Testament.

• Prepare a PowerPoint presentation that involves the following components.
  • Summarize general insights your topic gives to the reader of the New Testament.
  • Give four specific examples from four different books of the New Testament, focusing on examples where a basic knowledge of your topic is more than just helpful, but is crucial in understanding and interpreting the New Testament.
