Pick a leg of the Three-Legged-Stool of Democracy that we talked about in class (that I've mentioned all semester, and that is the topic of this week's post).

Government - The Market/Commerce - Civil Society (you and me and everyone else)

Tell us which leg you've selected. Or legs. Who is Responsible? Why?

Then, tell us how that leg should operate to be responsible. Can you provide examples? How? What? Where? When?

Then, can that leg operate effectively without the other two legs? How so? or, Why not?
