Investigative Proposal

Objective: Develop a mentality of creation and application of programs or services that can promote social change in the youth population in Puerto Rico.

Instructions:

You must select one of two approaches: juvenile delinquency prevention or treatment for juvenile offenders.

a. Select a specific problem
b. Develop a short investigative proposal that includes, but is not limited to the following:
      - the perspective underlying the program or service
      - the population to be served and why,
      - the design of the program or service (methods of implementation) and
      - the expected result

The parts of the proposal must be supported by academic literature.
A minimum of three academic articles must be used to develop the proposal.
Essay format (introduction, content (proposal) and conclusion).
Minimum 8 pages.
