Click on the U.S. Supreme Court link (http://www.supremecourt.gov/). When the Supreme Court website comes up, click OPINIONS. Click on Latest Slip Opinions (2016-17 term). Select TWO cases from the 2016-2017 term. For each case, write a case brief of about two pages that describes the core constitutional issue emerging from the ruling, the major  reasoning for the Court’s decision, the justice writing the majority opinion, and the line-up of justices by name (majority, dissenting) in the decision.  Note: This should be in your own words and not a “cut-and-paste” job from the opinion. It should only include the very basic facts/background for the case: Focus on summarizing the constitutional issues and the court’s ruling. You will lose points if you just copy the opinion itself.

Specifics: You must select cases decided between January 1, 2017, and June 30, 2017.

Do not select any case that was decided unanimously by the Court.
