Political Environment

Go to the website of the Federal Trade Commission (https://www.ftc.gov) (FTC). 

Review the website.  Click Submit Assignment and type in your answers to the following questions:

1. In your own words, what are the goals of the FTC? 
2. In your own words, how does the FTC protect consumers?  How does it regulate trade?
3. Identify one current (within the last year) court case in which the FTC is/has been involved from the FTC website listed above.  Provide a link to the case. List the date of the case and the name of the company (defendant). NOTE: If you do not provide a link to the case and/or if the case is not from the FTC website, you will not receive any points for this question.
4. Briefly summarize the nature of the case in Question 3 and the outcome in your own words. You should have at least 1-2 paragraphs (3-5 sentences per paragraph).
