MICHIGAN 

The class is community health, The purpose of the course is to provide a discussion of health behavior theory and how health theory can be used. Multiple theoretical perspectives will be offered in an attempt to explain varied health behavior patterns. 

Draft a policy brief (4 pages max) that could be used as a handout for a visit with a legislator. You 

will use the same organization and policy issue for the policy brief that you selected for the letter. The policy 

brief should include a description of the proposed policy, reasoning/rationale with data to support the proposed 

policy and policy options, and examples from other localities.
