Discussion #3   List 2 or 3 companies that failed in their "long-term" strategic planning. Discuss what went wrong, why did they fail?  Discuss YOUR definition of short-term (as related to strategic planning and performance).

Discussion #4  List 2 or 3 companies that have implemented an excellent "long-term" strategic plan. Discuss why they have been successful for so long. Also, discuss your definition of long-term and success in terms of strategic planning.
