While biblical background and the reading of our course text is important, there is no substitute for the practical, hands-on experience of actually coaching someone.  Here, you will want to create an element of your own coaching practice that you will develop as a first step to your own personal coaching mindset.

• Write a 1-page assignment on how you will apply biblical components to your practice as a personal coach. Ensure the following points are addressed:
  
   
  • Journal at least two biblical examples that would guide your own approaches to personal coaching.
  • Explore if the coaching techniques provided in the biblical examples transcend time or if cultural adjustments would need to be made.
    
• Support your work with scholarly academic resources using APA format.
