• Clearly state your support or opposition to this bill.

• Discuss 2 reasons for supporting or opposing this bill.

• You should have a reference for this section of your paper. Heading #3-Purpose of Bill (bold print and centered).

• Discuss the purpose of the bill to include Statistics (Local, State, or Federal) concerning who is impacted and why.

• How will this bill impact healthcare and nurses?

• Who submitted the bill and

• where it is in the process (has it been voted as a bill or is it in use).

• Heading #4- Conclusion (centered and in bold print).

• Restate your topic and why it is important.

• Address opposing viewpoints and explain why readers should align with your position.

• Call for action or overview future research possibilities. References- Your references should be on a separate page with - References – (centered and in

bold print).

• This assignment requires the use of Cherry and Jacobs, and

• an additional reference for each section of your paper.

• Your references should be current (within the last five years).

• You should have five references including the Cherry and Jacobs textbook (no more, no

less).

Additional Reference Page Instructions-

• Using the APA 7th edition Common Reference Examples Guide (can be found in the APA

resources in the modules section) or the 7th edition APA manual, identify the type of

reference you are using and list it in red beneath your reference on the reference list.
