You should share your content in a format that you feel is most effective for your audience (outside of the classroom, papers are not recommended). You should plan for a 20-minute sharing period that includes the following: In your final project, you must address the following content areas:

• Introduction: o Identify the purpose of your presentation (your social justice issue).

• Social Justice: o Defend the importance of fostering social justice, equity pedagogies, and culturally

relevant teaching in early childhood settings. o Support your argument with content and examples from the research and literature

you examined in this course. o Remember your audience. Avoid an overreliance on direct quotes in favor of

paraphrasing information from your sources. o Provide a contextual example for your audience to understand how to integrate this

concept into your organization/environment. • Connection to Professional Responsibilities:

o Defend how innovative leadership, social justice, and 21st-century learning are tied to professionalism in the field.

• Mission Moving Forward: o Share your personal DEI statement.

The Summative Part II: Social Justice Presentation final project, • must be the equivalent of a 20-minute presentation

o Submit the project in an acceptable format as listed in the assignment prompt • must be 15 PowerPoint slides in length (not including title and references pages) and

formatted according to APA style. • must include an introduction and conclusion paragraph. Your introduction paragraph

needs to end with a clear thesis statement that indicates the purpose of your paper. • must use at least five credible sources in addition to the course text
