Why a pitch? It is important to know how to present one’s ideas in a succinct way.

Task 1: Your Pitch. You will present your idea for the critical thinking paper and the oral presentation to the class in a short Flipgrid video (time limit: 5 minutes). Your pitch must include the following:

• A summary of your topic idea and why it is a worthy topic
• Your thesis statement/research question
• What you plan on using as a hook in your presentation
• What your take-home message is
• You will also watch and comment on your group members’ Flipgrid posts. (see groups below)
