Next, think about a motion from one of the Rube Goldberg machines you observed in the module resources. Choose a particular step in the process of that motion, think about the components of acceleration, velocity, and displacement, and address the questions listed below. As we’re focusing on one-dimensional motion this week, stick to cases in which the motion may be backward or forward, but also along a line. Include which video you are referencing and the time in which your chosen motion occurs in the video.

  • Is velocity constant? If not, is acceleration positive or negative?
