In these days of terrorist threats the use of cyber-surveillence is an important tool used by the government to aide in protecting the nation.  But some have argued that cyber-surveillance poses its own threat to personal privacy and certain Constitutional rights.

On the issue of the tension between cyber-surveillance for security and personal freedom and privacy where does your opinion fall: Is security more important than privacy, or is privacy more important than security?  Explain and defend your response.
