  Fully explain the reasoning in the equality proof in the Phaedo.  Explain how this argument is meant to refute empiricism, and support anamnesis and  Form theory.  Then critically evaluate the theory.  Is it correct or not?  Why?  Why not?

 Thoroughly explain what is meant by the problem of the one and the many.  Then explain how Socrates would explain our ability to apply the universal term "phone" to many different objects in terms of his epistemology.  Then explain how Aristotle would explain our ability to apply the universal term "phone" to many different objects in terms of his epistemology.  Finally give reasons for which theory you think is better on the problem of the one and the many.
