Read the "4 Noble Truths" in the files section.  Also read the "Taoism 101.docx" and look at the "Tao.pptx".  

What do you think are the major points of Buddhism and Taoism?  Describe the 8-fold path and discuss its purpose.  How do these Eastern approaches to philosophy compare to the Western approaches (Pre-Socratic, Sophist, Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle) which we have studied?  What elements are similar?  What elements are different?
