Phil 01 - Final Essay

  

Instructions:

For your final paper you will write a research and argumentative paper over a particular topic that is of interest to you. This topic must be one that is somewhat ethical in nature, incorporate as “sense of personal responsibility”, and has multiple points of agreement and disagreement within its paradigm. I have listed a few examples below for your consideration and you are free to choose from these, or select one of your own that is not included. As stated, it must be a topic with multiple contentious and philosophical elements. (I choose Martin Heidegger) .

Rubric:

- 3-5 pages

- Double spaced

- 12-Point Font : Times New Roman

- Formatting Style: MLA

- Three 3 scholarly sources minimum (JSTOR, EBSCO, etc.)

- Must include the integration of at least two (2) philosopher’s though we covered this term. (One would be Martin Heidegger and another one you'll need to choose)

- Paper is DUE ON MONDAY DECEMBER 3th AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS!!!

- Legalization of Marijuana

- Death with Dignity/Euthanasia

- Wealth Inequality in America

- Immigration/Border Control Laws

- Existence of God and Science/Evolutionary Theory
