People who oppose sex education in the schools often argue against it on the grounds that exposing teenagers to such information will make them more likely to become sexually active at an early age. Those who support sex education in the schools have argued that it actually makes teens less likely to become sexually active. In an effort to find out whether sex education does have an effect on sexual activity, the renowned sex researcher Alberta Kinsey decides to perform an experiment. She takes a random sample of 8 students and gives them a course in sex education. Years later, she conducts confidential interviews to determine the age at which members of the sample became sexually active.
