1. Make a list of 15 IMAGES for each of the 5 senses. Be as concrete and detailed as you can; images can be one or two words or a lengthier phrase of seven or eight words. There is no rule other than your "word picture" should evoke one or more of the 5 senses. Your images may come from things you observed this week, or from remembered sensations and experiences. You may find yourself creating your first set of poems from some of these images.

For example:

SMELL

rotting meat drifting from a dumpster

moldy cheese

sharp scent of red wine

ocean breeze that smells like childhood

the sweet jasmine of a lover's neck.....

No page length required; just the 15 (or more) Images for each of the 5 senses.
