yyyy- Reply to the posts from each of your group members, commenting on their statement. Your comments should:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the statement.
- Is the statement revelatory? Compelling?
- Does it fall into any of the Weak Thesis Types listed in the Writer’s Companion (pp. 104-108)? If not, how does it avoid some of these pitfalls?
- List at least one strength and one suggestion for the author to consider as they evolve their thesis.
- Include at least one question you have about their thesis or larger project.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the statement.
