Pandora’s box is in your hand

With a click or touch,

A few words typed, one simple log-in

All can be seen in the palm of your hand.

Talk without speaking,

Listen without hearing,

The imagery of a gif, an emoji

Now does all your speaking.

Records were kept in the family bible or book

Events like marriage, birth , death with simple dates

Now it’s pictures stored forever

On your own facebook.

The Pandoras box is now open to all

But mostly used in the bathroom stall.

Snooki

A sniffle, a sigh

Snooki laid down to cry.

She licked the black hair

As her black eyes stared

down.

The pup is held snug tight

She wont part without a fight.

Snooki ties to feed the pup

But there is no use for a cup

We frown.

The pup has been dead

Since we first saw her head.

No playful bark

In the dark,

Just a whimpering sound.
