Part 1: Choosing a Group and Area// ANCIENT HISTORY

In 100-200 words and in this order submit in an MS Word document:

1.  Choose a group and discuss your interest in it and

2.  designate its place and time from any era ancient to contemporary to examine, e.g., groups: a tribe, your family, artists, your professional group, religious followers, veterans, working classes, military personnel, urban professionals, homeless/refugees, the elderly, scientists, city-state (e.g., Athens), etc.; areas: anywhere on the planet.

3.  Then explain how it is large enough to have a mythology but small enough that you can answer the questions about it and present your findings in the workshop.

This assignment is required and graded. It is designed to get you thinking about your course project and to receive feedback for your choices.  Please organize it clearly, thank you.
