Paper Son essay

This is my beginning :

The book Bone written by Fae Myenne Ng uncovers the life story of Leon, a paper son from China, and his wife and three daughter living in  San Francisco Chinatown. Leon hopes to find well paying work and a successful life in America. In reality, paper sons struggled to cope with life in the United States.

This needs to be connected, also 

The first question must be How does the novel explain Leon's experience as a paper son.

The professor leave me out a question for me :
