Here are the instructions and some penalties that will apply.

1. Due Monday, March 11.
2. Between 500 and 700 words.
3. Double-spaced, 12 point type, black ink, printed on one side only.
4. Make sure you start with a clear thesis and support that thesis with specific, relevant evidence from the play/movie.
5. Any citations or formatting choices should follow the MLA format.
6. Penalties:
   1. Failure to indicate titles correctly: 1/10 of a point for each instance
   2. Failure to capitalize or properly spell a proper noun: 2/10 of a point for each instance
   3. Failure to correctly use the apostrophe: 1/10 of a point for each instance
   4. Any violation of rule 3: 1/10 of a point per violation
   5. Any instance of plagiarism no matter how small: Failure of the paper.
