GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY The agency ensures volunteer and job opportunities are provided to qualified community members. Together, with the financial support, the Agency ensures it provides quality care and services to a larger population of the community. SUPPORTING THE AGENCY Donations Most activities in the Agency are supported by donor funds. Therefore, they can support our activities by making in one-time or recurring donations as this will boost our daily services. Donations are also accepted in form of corporate sponsorships and business partnerships. Volunteering Citizens can also support our activities by volunteering in the various services and programs offered by the Agency. Volunteers will get a chance to utilize their talents and skills to serve the older people. While volunteering, they will also learn new skills that will boost their roles in future. Advise the older person and their loved ones on how to handle different situations in their lives. Guide the elderly on how to effectively face their challenges and achieve a healthy lifestyle. OUR SERVICES The Agency provides services and programs directed to address the needs of its clients. Being a non-profit organization, most of these services are offered free of charge. The Agency engages specialists and staff in various fields who handle clients professionally. Together, with partnerships with other community organizations, the following services are offered: Provider of Trusted Information: Aging and Disability Resources Aging Well Speaker’s Bureau Maine Legal Services for the Elderly Medicare and Insurance Counseling Preventing Scams and Fraud 2. Wellness Services: Prior to Covid19, we offered group classes and events to help elderly age well. Aging Well Expo Living Well with Chronic Conditions Matter of Balance Tai Chi 3. Home-Based Care services During this pandemic, home is where you are comfortable and feel safe. We provide services that help you remain living independently.
