MIDTERM Paper

Midterm Requirements

Execution of Reconnaissance and Enumeration:

You will use ping, traceroute, and Nmap to determine the network topology and layout with the types of systems used in the network.

You will create a paper with the methods you used and the results of the methods.

 You will present your presentation via video (meets) for a grade total on your Midterm presentation. You will complete the midterm paper, but the oral presentation of your PowerPoint will be for your total grade.

• Individual Paper:
  • Write a 3 to 4-page paper on the procedures used above for the listed tasks   
• Individual Presentation:
  • Build a PowerPoint presentation on the same topic you just described in your paper.  You will present this as if you are talking to the fictitious person.   

Writing Requirements: 

• Individual PowerPoint presentation 10-20 slides
• 4-5 page paper in APA format, for citations and references
• Use the APA template located in the Student Resource Center to complete the assignment.
• Each member of the class submits an individual assignment
