Writing Requirements:

The body of this paper should be 2 - 3 pages (not including cover page, abstract or references).

This research paper requires a minimum of 2 scholarly references: academic journals, professional journals, and/or appropriate authoritative references such as FASB Codification System, IFRS, etc.

Be sure to provide specific examples throughout your paper to back up your statements

All research papers must be submitted in APA format for sources and citations.

Research, using authoritative sources (e.g., peer-reviewed articles from the library, Fraud Examiners Manual)  a case where offshore financing was used to facilitate some other type of fraud. Give an overview of the case and a detailed example of how exactly offshore financing was used in this case.  Discuss current techniques and/or legislation that are being developed to combat the fraud you used in your example. What else do you think should be done to prevent this type of fraud? How might this type of fraud be more effectively detected and resolved?
