SUMMARY PAPERS (approx. 500 words): Carefully think through your position in the dispute or conflict. Justify your complaints using facts if you’re an organization or personal stories if you are a farmer for instance. Your paper should demonstrate your thorough knowledge of the case and issue at hand. I will give you some background and narrative in class, but you should dig deeper and research further with your partner. Think strategically as well—actors not directly involved may want to remain neutral for various reasons. The point of this exercise is to understand the motives of your actor and the ways in which the world system constrains them. 

-Each paper should have a minimum of 3 scholarly citations (news sources are ok)

-Any citation format is fine(APA, MLA, Chicago etc), just be consistent
