Organizational Configurations

 Review the 5 Organizational Configurations proposed by Henry Mintzberg 

 construct a single narrative summary that differentiates between the 1) Machine Bureaucracy and Professional Bureaucracy as well as the 2) Simple Structure and Adhocracy 

  identify and reflect on a current or past organization you are/were a part of (work, school, club, sports team, etc.). Each group will then construct a single narrative that outlines which Mintzberg configuration best characterizes each group member's identified organization. Be sure to use specific examples to provide justification for your selection of configuration for each group member's organization.  

 A target word length for this assignment is 500-600 words.
