· Review the assignments and feedback of Weeks 1–5.

· Review feedback from your post in the Presenting to the Board discussion forum in Week 5.

As you completed the assignments for Weeks 1–5, you learnt how to put together a budget, understand your expenses, and understand the importance of forecasting the next few years to make your organization successful. For your final paper, you will put together all your work from this class into one final cumulative budget project. It is important that you go back and review the feedback you received from your instructor, as well as the feedback from your peers in the Presenting to the Board discussion forum in Week 5. No work is ever perfect, so including feedback, recalculating expenses now that you understand the big picture better, and refining your previous work is important. To add to this, you will create a transmittal letter. This letter highlights the budget income and expenses you project. This letter can be customized to fit your type of business or funding sources, whether a bank, board of trustees, board of directors, grant board, or individual philanthropist.

In your paper,

· Create a transmittal letter no longer than 2 pages.

· Synthesize the feedback from your instructor and peers to update your assignments in Weeks 1–5, and include the finalized versions of your Budget Introduction, Projected Revenue Sources and Ethics, Projected Expenses, Projected Profit/Loss, and Capital Budget Addendum assignments.

· Identify how you used the feedback each week to improve your work.

· Write at least 1 paragraph per week about the feedback and how you used it to improve your project.

· Develop a 1-page summary detailing why you, as the reviewer (not the applicant) would approve this budget.
