Managing the  Store Observation Activity  General Store Interior  An observation of both retailers must be completed by the end of week  four.   How to do: Physically go to each store as a shopper. Compare and contrast the two  retail stores. Describe the exterior; clean, well lit, open, lots of  parking. Describe how the store looks when you first walk in. Describe  the staff, are they in uniform, are customers being taken care of? Long  waiting lines to check out? Store stocked, clean, lighting, sounds. Take  a few selfies, or snapshots of displays, entryway, interior, and  exterior. How does each store manage its store?  Submit notes.  List the pluses and minuses of each retailer′s management effectiveness.   Evaluate both stores and explain why one retailer′s management has a  better advantage over the other retailer.  Submit notes from your observations and then develop a few slides to  illustrate and present your findings.   **I have included phase 2 for your reference.   Companies are Carrefour and Tesco
