 Types of Process

Choice of process strategy and process types is a strategic decision in Operations Management. 

• Classify the process types most commonly used in your industry, e.g., job shop, batch processing, assembly line, etc.(Three Rivers behavioral health).
  
• What key tasks must management focus on doing especially well for each of these process types, in order to be a top performing organization?
• Are there recognized leaders in any of these process types? If so, who are they and what are they doing especially well?
