Misconceptions that go along with autism are caused by lack of understanding, incorrect information and the mystery that goes behind the condition. As a developmental disorder, misconceptions are many and ongoing. Autistic children are often characterized as mentally challenged, showing little to no eye contact, and having no empathy. Symptoms can appear at birth up to age 3 years. Because symptoms often overlap into other conditions that cause late or wrong diagnosis. Misconceptions that go along with autism are many and hurtful to families and children who carry this disorder.

 One misconception of children with autism is the being mentally challenged. Due to the fact children on the spectrum are harder to test, often they are labeled as mentally challenged, but that doesn’t mean they are lacking intelligence. The challenge that goes with testing is often caused by hearing, speech, behavior, or multiple other reasons. There are many children on the spectrum with average and often higher than average IQ.

Technology has helped many businesses stay relevant and even reinvent a few businesses because it has made the products easier for the customer to shop and more efficient for the business long term. There are several major businesses from retail, food industry and transportation industry. All the industries have evolved over the past 5 years to be more efficient companies and has been changing so fast that some businesses that are not adapting are not sticking around. You can say the rapid change has caught some businesses by surprise that have been around for decades. 

One of the biggest technology companies that has shook the transportation industry by storm is UBER. They also are not planning on just stopping at your normal ride share on your phone they are continuing to reinvent. They plan to use the same app for short ride electric scooters, helicopter transportation and self-driving cars to eliminate paying a driver to keep their prices low. UBER is not a company that has not been scared to shy away from technology instead they have embraced it and that has what seems to be one of their biggest business models. 

The food industry has also gotten huge on apps. You can almost order ahead on a app and pick up at any major fast food chain. They have made it more convenient or the customer, so they don’t have to wait in line. At the same time, they eliminate the person having to order which at the end of the day can be a win for the customer and the business to keep prices down. Some fast food chains have also teamed up with online delivery services to get their product to their customer. Which because its 3rdparty it cost the restaurant very little because it is on the customer to pay for the convenience.

In this study, the diagnostic use and interactive use on strategy-performance relationship are compared. This study showed several organizations reaching over their performance levels by using the management control system with organizational strategies. To have a competitive advantage and long-term average, the organization must adopt the cost leadership strategy or the differentiation strategy. I learned that the difference between diagnostic and interactive control systems is how the managers use them not the technical design features. Organizations are at a competitive advantage when they adopt either or both of “cost leadership” and “differentiation” strategy in a broad or narrow market.

to run a successful restaurant you need customer service, proper training, and a great location.

First off were going to talk about customer service. The definition of customer service is the assistance and advice provided by a company to those people who buy or use its products or services. To have a great restaurant you must have wonderful customer service. Poor customer service will send customer’s away. When your customers won’t return they spread different words around, and then your business will be run down to the dirt. Always make sure you have great customer service. There is a phase that everyone says, “Customers are always right” One bad apple can ruin a successful restaurant.

Let’s talk about proper training that you would need for a successful restaurant. As, a manager you need all kinds of training and certificates. The CEO will guide the manager in the correct way. Everyone needs to have a serve safe certificate. What is a serv safe certificate? A serv safe certificate is a food and beverage safety training and certificate program administered by the National Restaurant Association. The program is accredited by ANSI and the Conference for Food Protection. Sanitation certification is required by most restaurants as a basic credential for their management staff. To date over 5 million SERV Safe Food Protection Manager Certifications have been awarded. When operating a successful restaurant, you must know all the different temperatures for meats, juice, produce, coolers, freezers, etc. I never had training, I was thrown to the wolves and I just caught on, I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 12 years now, and I’ve learned a lot of things.

            Finally you want to have a great location. Location is always key. Make sure that your restaurant is seen and not hidden. You want to find a place that is busy and too much slow. Also, you want to make sure that you don’t have much competition in the food industry. You want to advertise your business as well, make flyers, send out coupons, etc.  How to find the right location for your business? Identify push and pull factors, research the composition of the community, and understand your business needs.

   A cyber attack is a strike against a computer system, network, or internet enabled application or device. Hackers use a variety of tools to launch these attacks, including malware, ransomware exploit kits, and other methods. Casualties of cyber attacks can be random or targeted, depending on cyber criminals intentions. In 2017, there was this virus used by hackers called “Wannacry”.It has emerged as one of the most notable cyber attacks due to its reach and the speed at which it spread. News of the ransomware outbreak started in Europe with Britain’s National Health Service being one of the first targets of the cyber attack before it took off globally. Hospitals were shut down across the United Kingdom as files became encrypted. In the end, thousands of organizations were hit across more than 150 countries.The WannaCry cyber attack took advantage of two key issues which are: (1) Hacking tools were stolen from the National Security Agency (NSA) that exploited Windows vulnerabilities; and 2) The majority of the organizations hit by the WannaCry cyber attack had failed to patch and were running some form of the Windows 7 operating system.While a ransomware attack is just one form of cyber attack, other attacks occur when hackers create malicious code known as malware and distribute it through spam email campaigns or phishing campaigns. Just like the incident back in 2016 with the democrat national committee ( DNC ) they where been hacked by the Russians intelligent committee. They used a malware and sent it to their email, once you get the this kind of malware by email and you click on the link, it asks you to change your password making you feel the email admins like yahoo or gmail are asking you to change your password. Once you do that the hacker will get access to your emails and datas.

Overall, cyber attacks have been growing at an alarming rate  in volume, sophistication and impact. Just In May 2017, they where more than 17 million attacks each week. More than half included payloads that were unknown at the time of detection and could not be detected by conventional signature based technology.
