As discussed in class, the men and women that contributed to what we call Operations Management  are more than the three or four ideas from the slide.  Take a look at one or two and discover something that you believe makes them remarkable as people.  

You need not limit yourself to the OM giants from our text, you can extend the search for someone from your own discipline (management, marketing, accounting . . . .).  If you do so, you may have to share with the class one or two of their professional accomplishments as well as the thing you believe makes them remarkable people.

Come to class next Wednesday ready to share what you have discovered.
