Office Procedures Discussion Module 3

 You are working a busy physician's clinic and the telephone calls are increasing to the point that it is difficult to answer many calls within three to four rings. The physician wants to purchase an automated system for the office that allows a computer to answer the telephone. Calls will be answered by a recorded voice that instructs the patient that his or her call will be handled by the next available assistant. How do you think this system will work and why?
