Observation

The written assignment is a minimum of 4 typed pages.

Write a one paragraph introduction for each video, including a description of the circumstances of the observation done on the video, and pertinent general information about the groups of children, eg age, gender.

Select five behaviors the children exhibit in each video.

• Describe the behavior
• Identify concepts from class that are illustrated in the setting or the behavior while the behavior was being observed.
• Describe how the child’s behavior was influenced by the environment
• Explain why/how the behavior illustrates the concept.

In your conclusion summarize your thoughts on the children, and reflect on your own experiences as you were observing the children in these videos.
