we are discussing the importance of evidence based practice! As such, there are a variety of sources you can use to conduct successful interventions that ensure positive patient outcomes. What are some of the costs and benefits to using these particular sources? and discussing the importance of incorporating research/evidence based practice into our own nursing practice. In the course of their practice, nurses ask many questions, and not all of them can or should be answered by a search for best evidence.  Carper (1978) suggests that nurses employ at least four ways of knowing in patient care: moral, aesthetic, personal and empiric. I’d like you all to discuss ideas related to at least two of these types of “knowing” (Carper, 1978).
