 Introduction

Pharmacology courses help students gain knowledge of the two main areas of pharmacology: pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. Pharmacodynamics studies the effects of a drug on biological systems, and pharmacokinetics discusses the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of these systems.
