Read the following scenario, and address the questions in a 2 page analysis. This assignment helps demonstrate your mastery of objectives 2 & 3 of the course. 

An O-negative person received three units of O-negative blood 6 months ago for a chronic GI bleed. The person did not have a history of any previous transfusions and now needs two more blood units for the same condition. The person’s plasma was cross-matched with the red blood cells from two O-negative donors. One unit is compatible, and one is incompatible. Antibody identification reveals that the person developed an anti-C antibody. Where did this antibody come from, and why was one of the units incompatible?
