What are the predisposing factors that lead to domestic abuse? What is the role of the public health nurse to prevent domestic abuse

As you begin to consider the factors that lead to domestic abuse and the PHN role in it, consider what domestic abuse is. Domestic abuse is also referred to as family violence or battery.  Generally you will see a pattern of behavior that includes some type of violence in the domestic setting. So think about situations outside of the just the most obvious marital relationships… does it include child/parent? How about roommates? What else might it include? What is it not included?
