Hello everyone, this presentation focuses on my professional SMART goals for the NUR 640 Psychotherapy clinical experience, with an emphasis on developing competence in group psychotherapy.
Group psychotherapy is a vital component of psychiatric–mental health care across the lifespan and requires the PMHNP to demonstrate skills in assessment, facilitation, intervention, and evaluation of group dynamics.
Establishing SMART goals supports intentional and structured clinical growth by ensuring goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.
These goals are aligned with course objectives and are designed to strengthen my ability to deliver evidence-based, ethical, and culturally responsive group psychotherapy.
Each goal targets identified areas for professional development while enhancing my confidence and effectiveness in group therapy settings.
