New York Times article “Why We Can’t Look Away from Our Screens”

read the New York Times article “Why We Can’t Look Away from Our Screens” and respond to the following questions.  

1. How do you feel about psychologist Adam Alter’s main point? Do you believe that technology addiction is as big a problem as he believes? Why or why not? 
2. How do you feel about your own technology use? Do you believe you currently have (or once had) a technology addiction? If you answer in the affirmative, offer some details.
3. Alter argues that legislation could be a partial solution to technology addiction. Do you think he is right? Why or why not?
4. Alter argues that we are now facing a twofold problem because technological devices seem to have addictive properties while also serving to distribute addictive media? Do you believe it is the devices or media that are more responsible for the problems we face?
