Netflix and the battle of the streaming services

Each team will submit a written analysis of the Chapter 4 opening case “Netflix and the battle of the streaming services”. The case is intimately tied to the week’s readings. So, please be sure to explicitly integrate concepts from the readings into your analysis. Emphasis should be on analysis, and not on regurgitating the facts given in the case.

The case analysis should be 2 pages long (double-spaced) and written in the form of a report. In other words, DO NOT write in Q&A format. Please keep in mind the following questions while preparing your case analysis:

1. In what ways do various streaming platforms differ in terms of stand-alone value (e.g., fidelity, ease of use, recommender systems, etc.)?
2. In what ways do various streaming services differ based on the types and quality of content (the complementary goods) they provide?
